Industrial QC & GC Analytical Skills

A practical, industry-oriented internship focused exclusively on Quality Control (QC) and Gas Chromatography (GC). Students gain exposure to QC laboratory practices, sample preparation, GC principles, chromatogram interpretation, analytical testing, specifications, and quality documentation.

Module 1 — Quality Control Fundamentals

QC laboratory workflow, sampling, specifications, testing procedures, and quality standards.

Module 2 — GC Fundamentals & Operation

GC principles, instrument components, carrier gases, columns, detectors, sample preparation, and basic operation.

Module 3 — GC Analysis & Data Interpretation

Chromatograms, retention time, peak identification, analytical results, and basic system suitability concepts.

Module 4 — QC Documentation & Reporting

Test reports, COA, analytical records, SOPs, data integrity, and QC documentation practices.

By the end of the internship, students will be able to:

• Understand industrial QC laboratory operations.
• Explain the basic principles and applications of GC.
